The streamSAVE & DEESME projects held their joint final event, bringing together key stakeholders, policymakers, and innovators to celebrate the insights and experiences gained by different countries and companies in implementing energy efficiency policies.

During the development of the event, different points were addressed in three different panels. In the first one, the importance of streamSAVE for national authorities, the urge of precise data and measurements, and the balance between precision and simplification of savings estimations were discussed. The second panel was centered on achieving energy savings in industry, highlighting the importance of calculating and showing the savings with the goal of triggering investments, and monitoring as a key factor. Additionally, the third panel discussions addressed future actions, particularly on how to reach energy savings in the context of the EED recast.
